RAMADAN PLANNING GUIDE
Planning a reliable Ramadan timetable
A Ramadan timetable helps you plan suhoor, iftar, work and worship across the month. But a calendar produced months in advance should be treated as a planning estimate. Your local moon-sighting announcement and prayer calculation convention remain important when Ramadan begins.
Why the start date can vary
The Islamic calendar is lunar, with months normally containing 29 or 30 days. Communities and countries may apply different moon-sighting or calendar policies. A computational calendar such as Umm al-Qura gives useful reference dates but does not automatically confirm your local Ramadan or Eid al-Fitr announcement. This is why our timetable allows you to edit the first day and choose 29 or 30 days.
Suhoor cutoff and iftar time
Fajr is the start of the daily fasting period; Maghrib is the end. Some published timetables also show an earlier precautionary imsak time. Do not treat an arbitrary imsak offset as a universally required stop time. Check the local authority's guidance for your location and method.
How to choose your city and method
Start with a city search or precise coordinates, confirm the timezone, then select the calculation method used by your mosque. This is especially important for northern cities where high-latitude adjustments may affect Fajr and Isha. The printed calendar labels the method and timezone so it is easier to review or share responsibly.
Saving and printing your calendar
Our Ramadan Timetable tool creates 29 or 30 rows, allows an editable start date, and offers browser printing or CSV download. CSV files can be opened in spreadsheet applications for personal formatting. All days are recalculated for the selected date and location; there is no fixed list of times copied from a particular mosque.
What this site does not verify
We do not claim that calculated times equal mosque jamaat times or that an estimated Eid date is guaranteed. For fasting and religious decisions, cross-check with your recognised local mosque or religious authority. If a result appears implausible, double-check the coordinates, timezone, calculation method and high-latitude settings before using it.
